Sometimes all a steak needs is a little salt and maybe some pepper, but sometimes, especially on the barbecue you will want a nice bark and plenty of heat.
The are different types of spicy heat including chilli, black pepper, mustard, onion, and garlic. By no coincidence that is also the ingredient list for this rub, with a little sugar to bring them all together nicely.
All you need to do is add a little of your favourite salt and reverse sear on a flaming hot grill. Then, eat it rare so that the juices and the spices blend together. Magnificent.
